Day 1 of Kinematics
Lesson Plan
- Introduce Minds On Physics at The Physics Classroom
Do short demonstration to show how it works
- Discuss Describing Motion with Words
Scalars vs. Vectors, Distance vs. Displacement, Speed vs. Velocity
- Pair Practice: Describing Motion Verbally with Distance and Displacement Think Sheet
Complete and check answers; once approved by teacher, start Minds On Physics
- Minds On Physics: Mission KC1 (Scalars and Vectors) and Mission KC2 (Distance and Displacement)
- Do Physics Interactives: Vector Walk (complete Levels 1-4)
