Torque-ing About Rotation - Questions
The Torque-ing About Rotation Concept Builder is comprised of 27 questions. The questions are divided into nine different question groups. Questions in the same group are rather similar to one another. The Concept Builder is coded to select at random a question from each group until a student is successful with that group of questions.
There are four levels of difficulty by which the student can progress through the Concept Builder. Those four difficulty levels are differentiated as follows:
- Apprentice Level: Question Groups 1-3
- Masters Level: Question Groups 4-6
- Wizard Level: QuestionGroups 7-9
The questions from each group are shown below. Teachers are encouraged to view the questions in order to judge which level of difficulty is most appropriate for their classes. We recommend doing all three difficulty levels. None of the questions take much time and all provide a wonderful feel for the concept of torque and its ability to cause a rotation about the fulcrum if unbalanced by an opposing torque.
