Teacher Resources

The Physics Classroom has been devoted to helping students, teachers, and classrooms since the 1990s. We are as passionate about that mission now as we have ever been. If you are a teacher of Physics or Physical Science, we encourage you to use our Video Tutorial with your students. And we also encourage you to consider the use of other resources on our website that coordinate with the video. We have listed a few below to help you get started.

Physics Interactives, Light and Color: Young's Experiment

Here it is! Turn off the lights. Turn on the laser. And determine the wavelength of light. This simulation provides great interactive practice. Feedback is immediate. Chances to correct mistakes abound. If you're a Task Tracker teacher, you can collect progress data from students.

Calculator Pad, Light Waves, Problem Sets LC8 - LC10

When you need problem-solving practice, The Calculator Pad is the go-to site. Students will get problems with random numbers, an answer field, and a Check Answer button. Feedback on student answers is immediate. Students can check as many times as they like.
