The Physics Classroom has been devoted to helping students, teachers, and classrooms since the 1990s. We are as passionate about that mission now as we have ever been. If you are a teacher of Physics or Physical Science, we encourage you to use our Video Tutorial with your students. Physics Interactives, Light and Color: Young's Experiment
After understanding two-point source interference, the next logical step is to do Young's Experiment. This Task-Tracker compatible simulation provides students an environment to practice using Young's Equation to measure the wavelength of light. Feedback is immediate. Students have multiple opportunities to correct their errors.
