Teacher Resources

The Physics Classroom has been devoted to helping students, teachers, and classrooms since the 1990s. We are as passionate about that mission now as we have ever been. If you are a teacher of Physics or Physical Science, we encourage you to use our Video Tutorial with your students. And we also encourage you to consider the use of other resources on our website that coordinate with the video. We have listed a few below to help you get started.

Physics Interactive: RGB Addition

This interactive simulation allows students to manipulate the intensity of red, green, and blue light and observe the result. It is accompanied by a ready-to-use classroom activity. It makes for a great addition to any lesson plan.

Concept Builder: Color Addition and Subtraction

If you're not using Concept Builders, then you need to check it out. These interactive questioning modules probe student understanding in a playful manner ... with Stars, Trophies, and Dataways. With a Task Tracker account, you can easily track student progress. It's easy-peasy.

Minds On Physics the App, Part 5, Light and Color Module, Mission LC3

Our Minds On Physics apps provide serious students a challenging tool for improving their game. App #5 includes three modules, one of which is Light and Color. Mission LC3 is a great complement to this Video Tutorial.
