Magnetic Field
The Magnetic Field Interactive allows a learner to explore the magnetic field surrounding a simple bar magnet. A compass can be dragged about in the space surrounding the bar magnet and the effect of the magnet on the compass needle can be observed.
Users are encouraged to open the Interactive and explore. The Physics Classroom has not prepared any activities for use with this Interactive. We are confident that teachers who use our website will come up with plenty of great ideas for using the Magnetic Field Interactive and we invite you to share those ideas with us.
