Like all our Concept Checkers, it is designed to be used as a follow-up to the use of the
Filtering Away simulation. We recommend the use of our
classroom-ready exercise with the simulation.
The Concept Checker targets student understanding of the following learning outcome:
- The student should be able to identify the primary colors of light that would be transmitted through a filter for any situation and predict the color appearance of any object viewed through such a filter.
