Distance vs. Displacement Concept Builder

Distance vs. Displacement is a Concept Builder that challenges learners to apply the definitions of distance and displacement in order to determine the numerical values of distance and displacement for a multi-segment motion. There are nine different situations and three different levels of difficulty. In each situation, the learner is presented with a verbal description of a situation and must determine the distance and the magnitude and direction of the displacement. Question-specific help is provided for each of the situations. Use of this Concept Builder with our Task Tracker system allows teachers to track student progress.
