Fluid Pressure
In the Fluid Pressure Concept Builder, learners explore the nature of fluid pressure and the variables that affect its magnitude. There are 68 total questions that are organized into 18 different Question Groups and spread across three Activities. The three activities include Fluid Pressure Concepts, Case Studies, and Ranking Tasks.
Activity 1 - Fluid Pressure Concepts utilizes six multiple choice questions that target the nature of fluid pressure. In
Activity 2 - Case Studies, learners are presented diagrams of two situations and must identify the situation in which the pressure is greatest. And in
Activity 3 - Ranking Tasks, learners are provided a diagram with three different marked locations and must identify how they rank with respect to fluid pressure. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 18 situations. Use of this Concept Builder with our Task Tracker system allows teachers to track student progress.
Users are encouraged to open the Concept Builder and explore. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Concept Builder. However, the 18 different groups of questions can be printed. View
