Parallel Circuits: ∆V=I•R Calculations
The Parallel Circuits: ∆V=I•R Calculations Concept Builder challenges learners to conduct an analysis of a simple circuit with one resistor (
Apprentice Difficulty Level) and of a parallel circuit with two resistors (
Master Difficulty Level) and three resistors (
Wizard Difficulty Level). The analysis includes filling in a table with numerical values of battery voltage, resistance, and current at various locations. A built-in number pad makes numerical entry very easy on mobile devices by preventing the device keyboard from covering the question.Feedback is immediate and learner progress is tracked using a health bar. Learners can repeat a difficulty level in an effort to improve their health percentage. Help is provided for each difficulty level. Use of this Concept Builder with our Task Tracker system allows teachers to track student progress.
Users are encouraged to open the Concept Builder and explore. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Concept Builder. However, the 12 different groups of questions can be printed. View
