The L•O•S•T Art of Image Description

The L•O•S•T Art of Image Description (Curved Mirrors) Concept Builder presents learners with the challenge of relating the characteristics of the image formed by a curved mirror to the position of the object along the principal axis of the mirror. Learners make decisions about the general Location, the Orientation (upright or inverted), the relative Size (smaller, larger, or the same size as the object), and the image Type (real or virtual). There are five Question Groups - four pertaining to concave mirrors and one pertaining to convex mirrors. Question-specific help is provided for each of the questions. Use of this Concept Builder with our Task Tracker system allows teachers to track student progress.
