Metric Estimations

The Metric Estimations Concept Builder challenges learners to make rough estimations of the length, mass, and volume of common objects. Each question includes three answer options to choose from. An intuitive understanding of the SI units of length, mass, and volume is required to choose the correct answer option. Answer options include base units (meter, gram, and liter) and deriviatives formed by the use of the milli-, centi-, and kilo- prefixes. There are a total of 45 questions in this Concept Builder. They are organized into 15 different Question Groups and spread across the three difficulty levels. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 15 situations. The built-in score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for a classroom activity.
