Color Pigments

The Color Pigments Concept Builder consists of 33 questions organized into 15 different Question Groups and spread across three different activities. Activities 1 and 2 include six Question Groups and Activity 3 includes three Question Groups. Questions in the same group arer very similar in nature. The first activity - Name That Pigment - demands that learners observe the color appearance of a sheet of paper when illuminated with two different colors in order to conclude the pigment that is present in the paper. The second activity - Fashion Show - challenges students to predict the color a shirt will appear when given the pigments it contains and the light color that shines on it. The third activity - Name That Filter - requires that students identify the inks that must be applied to various parts of a printed image in order to obtain a set of desired colors. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 15 situations. Use of this Concept Builder with our Task Tracker system allows teachers to track student progress.
