    vi=initial velocity

    vf=final velocity

   ∆x=change in position

     a=acceleration

   ∆t=change in time

Average velocity formula:

   average v=∆x / ∆t

Constant acceleration formulas:

   a=(vf ﹣ vi) / ∆t

   ∆x=(vi ∆t) + (½ a ∆t²)

   vf²=vi² + (2 a ∆x)

constant position ➞ zero velocity

constant velocity ➞ zero acceleration

For triangles that include a right angle:

   longest side²=shorter side² + the other shorter side²

   sin θ=side opposite to angle / longest side

   cos θ=side adjacent to angle / longest side

   tan θ=side opposite to angle / side adjacent to angle
